  • Pennsylvania Campus Compact
A coalition of college and university presidents committed to fostering an ethic of service on campuses and in communities. It supports the growth and establishment of community service and service learning programs on members' campuses. Acts as a catalyst for action on campuses, helps to develop support for campuses to become involved in service, informs members of events and issues occuring at the state and national levels, and organizes workshops for faculty, students, and administrators at member institutions.

  • Invisible College
A coalition of faculty and other educators who strive to integrate learning and service in the diverse communities in which we work and live. We recognize that service learning is a broadly defined term that may encompass a spectrum of projects and course work ranging from acts of charity to activism for social change. Although national organizations have become available for college presidents (Campus Compact), administrative staff (National Society for Experiential Education), and students (Campus Outreach Opportunities League), a comparable organization for college faculty had not been developed until May of 1994.
