Instructors and Thought Leaders

Volunteerism and volunteer resource management are relatively new fields for academic study and analysis. Few colleges or universities offer credit-bearing course work within the academic curriculum; even fewer are engaged in research pertaining to effective volunteer engagement. Nonetheless interest is growing. Faculty members are hunting for resources, trainers and consultants in the field are looking for fresh ideas, and volunteer managers and media consultants are seeking data to support program development and expansion. Drawing upon the work of those already teaching in the field and the work and experience of the staff and faculty at the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service, is working to address this concern and the needs of leadership in the field.
