Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly (NVSQ) reports research on voluntarism, citizen participation, philanthropy, civil society, and nonprofit organizations. The Journal is sponsored by the Association (ARNOVA), an academic, refereed journal, articles are generally more appropriate to a graduate level audience.

The International Journal of Volunteer Administration (IJOVA) “is a refereed publication of the Department of 4-H Youth Development and Family & Consumer Sciences at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC, USA. IJOVA seeks to provide for an exchange of ideas and sharing of knowledge and insights about volunteerism, and volunteer management and administration, both in North America and internationally.” Originally a publication of the Association for Volunteer Administration, IJOVA is more accessible to the practitioner and offers articles of use in the instruction of volunteer resource management.

e-Volunteerism “is a quarterly online publication, combining the best of a printed professional journal with the full potential of Internet technology.” Every issue of the journal is interactive and invites the reader to contribute comments and additional material. A table of contents is posted quarterly (January 15, April 15, July 15, October 15) with some articles ready for immediate access and others posted throughout the course of the quarter. Each issue is fully archived, indexed and accessible to subscribers at no additional cost. Articles are practitioner oriented and global in focus.
